All the children seemed to enjoy using 2Do it yourself, making their own games. It was hard though to fit the tasks/games to the theme of 'Houses and Homes'. Most children saw the examples provided by the programe and wanted to simply recreate those examples excatly.
Each games needs loads of different skills to create one, therefore allowing the children to choose which ever game they wanted to do provided some problems, as we did not know all the games enough to provide them with the skills they needed.
This programme i would find more useful to make games for the children to play, or spend more time on one game to practice the skills needed to make a game in order for a more established outcome.

Good to hear both your positive assessment of the session and the subsequent ideas that you had for improvement. The beauty of applications such as the 2simple range is that you can adapt them to suit the age range and topic you are teaching...it just needs a creative mind!
